Terracon CEO and President Gayle Packer Honored as Entrepreneur of the Year 2024® Heartland Award Winner

EY celebrates the bold leaders who disrupt markets, revolutionize industries and transform lives

OLATHE, KAN. - Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces CEO and President Gayle Packer has been named an Entrepreneur Of The Year^® 2024 Heartland Award winner by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US). Entrepreneur Of The Year is the preeminent competitive awards program for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies.

Packer was selected by an independent judging panel made up of previous award winners, leading CEOs and other business leaders. Candidates were evaluated based on their ability to create long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to their purpose and the demonstration of growth and substantial impact, among other key indicators.

Founded in 1965 with a single office providing geotechnical services, Terracon has evolved to become one of the Top 20 U.S. design firms as ranked by Engineering News-Record. Packer has been instrumental to Terracon's growth, coordinating the acquisition of more than 50 companies as part of a balanced strategy of organic growth and acquisition.
