Tina Bailey Named Grand Marshal for City of Beavercreek's 4th of July Celebration

The City of Beavercreek is proud to announce that longtime resident Tina Bailey has been selected as the 2024 Grand Marshal for the city's 4th of July celebration. Bailey, who has called Beavercreek home for nearly six decades, is actively engaged in numerous community activities.

With 35 years of service to Beavercreek City Schools, Bailey has not only contributed to the educational growth of thousands of local children, but has also watched her own children and grandchildren grow up in Beavercreek. She and her husband have been the proud owners of Drive Right, a local driving school, for the past 25 years, helping countless people in the area learn to drive.

Bailey's dedication to the City of Beavercreek extends beyond education. She has been an active member of the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival Committee and a volunteer at the festival for more than 20 years.

"I was shocked when I found out I was chosen to be this year's grand marshal," said Bailey. "It's amazing to be asked to be a part of the city's celebration and represent Beavercreek!"

The city's 4th of July celebration will take place from 6 to 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. The festivities will begin with a parade at 6 p.m., starting at the intersection of Meadow Bridge Drive and Dayton-Xenia Road, continuing east on Dayton-Xenia Road, and ending near Beavercreek High School.

Following the parade, the excitement will continue at Rotary Park, located at 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road. Starting at 7 p.m., the park will host a variety of activities, including live music and entertainment by Velvet Crush, children's activities, and dozens of food trucks. The evening will conclude with a firework display presented by The Joshi Family, beginning at 10 p.m.
