Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium received the Armenian Ambassador

On October 30, Belgian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Middle Class, Self-Employment, Small and Medium Enterprises, Agriculture, Institutional Reforms and Democratic Renewal David Clarinval received Ambassador Tigran Balayan.
During the meeting, the ongoing efforts aimed at ensuring the continuity of the steps that are designed to deepen bilateral cooperation were discussed. The perspectives of cooperation in trade, economic and other sectors were also mentioned.
Ambassador Balayan highly appreciated Belgium's political support on bilateral and multilateral platforms, including the level of the EU, and gave a detailed presentation on the large-scale reforms implemented by the Government of Armenia and the registered progress.
At the request of Deputy Prime Minister Clarinval, the Ambassador gave a thorough introduction of Armenia's efforts aimed at betterment of relations with its neighbors and within that context touched upon the ongoing talks over the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
