Alexandria, Va.- ABI announces that Camber Jones of Spencer Fane LLP (Springfield, Mo.) has been selected as one of ABI's "40 Under 40," ABI's award program that recognizes 40 of the top insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40. The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony on Dec. 13 during ABI's 2024 Winter Leadership Conference at The Phoenician Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Jones currently chairs the Missouri State Bar's Business/Corporate Division, which oversees nine committees, including the Financial Services and Insolvency Law Committee, which she previously co-chaired. She is also a member of IWIRC and the Commercial Receivers Association, and has written insolvency-related articles for both banking and legal publications, including the Missouri Independent Bankers Association's Show-Me Banker Magazine and Thomson Reuters' Practical Law series.
Jones's pro bono representations have included a Texas death row inmate in her habeas corpus proceedings, individuals seeking asylum in the U.S. through their application process, an individual in Los Angeles in a successful adverse-possession proceeding, and an individual seeking a restraining order against a domestic abuser. She is an active member of the board of directors for the Lost & Found Grief Center, a local nonprofit that provides grief education and counseling services to Springfield, Missouri and surrounding areas. In addition, she has taken an active role within her firm and externally to promote the advancement of women in the legal profession. Jones is a member of the planning committee for Spencer Fane LLP's inaugural EmpowerHER Summit, which focused on the recognition and promotion of women attorneys and their client relationships.
"We are honored to celebrate the exceptional leaders within the 2024 class as they continue to make a significant impact both in their practice and in their communities," said ABI Executive Director Amy Quackenboss. "As bankruptcy practice continues to evolve, this diverse collection of honorees will propel ABI and the insolvency community forward."
The "40 Under 40" winners are distinguished by professional achievements and service and were selected by a group of experienced professionals from ABI's current leadership. Now in its eighth year, the goal of ABI's "40 Under 40" award program is not simply to create a one-time ceremony, but to fully engage those selected as future leaders in the insolvency profession and to build on the initiative each year.
