PPB Seeks Public Assistance To Locate Missing Child (Photo)

A child has left his home in the Portsmouth Neighborhood, and the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) is asking for community members to keep an eye out for him.

On in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 24, 2024, Nahiru Tibata, 12, left his home in the 9600 block of North Fiske Avenue and has not returned home. Nahiru speaks Swahili, does not speak English and has the cognitive behavior of a 3-year-old.

Nahiru is a black male, 5'9" in height, 170lbs, last seen wearing green, red, and black "Grinch" pajamas. Nahiru's photo is attached.
