University-owned computers to wait on macOS Sequoia update

The Office of Information Technology asks the campus community to delay upgrading Boise State-owned computers to the latest Mac operating system, macOS Sequoia, until testing is completed to ensure compatibility with all standard university software. The software will be available once testing is complete. Testing is expected to be complete by the end of December 2024.

The software update is free and compatible with most Mac desktops and laptops produced since 2018.

More information about new features in macOS Sequoia is available on Apple's website.
