Projects Administered by Deschutes County:
Chip Seal (Bend Area)- Deschutes County crews will be chip sealing the following roads (weather permitting):The north entrance to the Bend Municipal Airport will be closed to traffic until Tuesday, August 13. Until that date, drivers can access the airport using the south entrance.
Butler Market Road will be closed to traffic between Powell Butte Highway and Dickey Road until Wednesday, August 14. Until that date, drivers should use the Nelson Road and Dickey Road detour, with a posted speed limit of 35 MPH.
Old Bend Redmond Highway/S Canal Boulevard (Tumalo/Redmond Areas)- Crews will be doing final trimming and cleanup work along Old Bend Redmond Highway and S Canal Boulevard.Traffic Information- Intermittent single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers may be occurring during daytime hours. Please use caution while driving through area.Projects Administered by Other Agencies:
U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation)- Crews will be doing demolition and excavation work on 11th Street in Terrebonne between U.S. 97 and Smith Rock Way. Traffic Information- 11th Street will be closed to through traffic between U.S. 97 and Central Avenue. A designated detour route is in place via C Avenue, NW 16th Street and F Avenue. Intermittent single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers may also be occurring between Central Avenue and Smith Rock Way during work hours. Access for local traffic will be maintained during construction.Butler Market Road Closure (City of Bend)- Road work is occurring on Butler Market Road between Eagle Road and Clyde Lane. Traffic Information- The westbound lane of Butler Market Road is closed to traffic between Eagle Road and Clyde Lane. A detour route for westbound traffic is in place via Hamehook Road and Deschutes Market Road.*** Note that Work hours are subject to change based on weather conditions. ***
