Death Investigation at Arborway and New Washington Street in Jamaica Plain

At about 10:17 PM on Sunday, July 14, 2024, officers from District 13 responded to a report of a person shot at New Washington Street and the Arborway in Jamaica Plain. On arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from what appeared to be gun shot wounds. The victim was treated and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced.

The Boston Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit ay 617-343-4470.
