S&C Signs Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Key Stakeholders to Improve the Resilience of Power Distribution in the Philippines

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, September 20, 2024-S&C Electric Company, a leading innovator of resilient grid technology, today announced the signing of two MOUs with electrical equipment distributor Communications Electrical Equipment and Supply Company, Inc. (CELEASCO), Philippines utilities Manila Electric Company (Meralco) and Davao Light and Power Company (DLPC) to work together to improve the grid resilience in the Philippines. The MOU provides areas of collaboration, such as sharing knowledge and experiences; and benchmarking with utilities in the US for best practices in modernizing and improving the grid.

The MoUs were signed by Froilan Savet, Meralco's First Vice President and Head of Networks, and Enriczar Tia, Davao Light and Power Company's Chief Operating Officer, at Meralco's Head Office in the Philippines on September 4, 2024.
