DCCC Releases New TV Ad in NY-19: “Doctor”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for New York's 19th Congressional District, "Doctor," highlighting how doctors will never trust Marc Molinaro to protect Upstate New York women's reproductive health care access based on his extreme voting record.

In Congress, Molinaro has voted thirteen times against protecting abortion rights - including to punish doctors who perform abortions. Now, he's running for re-election on a party platform that would ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest - even in New York.

The ad - the second to run in New York's 19th Congressional District from the DCCC IE - is airing in the Binghamton, Albany, and New York City media markets beginning today and is part of the committee's previously announced investments in key battleground districts.

"I'm an OBGYN here in New York.

I would never entrust the health and safety of my patients to Marc Molinaro.

I have noticed women are starting to feel their rights are at risk here in New York State,

And I think that they are correct based on Marc Molinaro's voting history.

He voted against abortion access 13 times,

And Molinaro has already voted to punish doctors who perform abortions.

I'm worried that I will not be able to take care of my patients because I will be restricted by what Marc Molinaro wants.
