2024 Cybersecurity Disclosure (CYD) Taxonomy

On September 16, 2024, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system was upgraded to Release 24.3 and now supports the Cybersecurity Disclosure (CYD) taxonomy. This taxonomy provides the elements for tagging disclosures related to the Commission's final rule on Cybersecurity Risk Management, Strategy, Governance, and Incident Disclosure using Inline eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL). Please refer to the taxonomy guide for details.
Please see https://www.sec.gov/data-research/standard-taxonomies for a complete listing of supported standard taxonomies. The staff strongly encourages companies to use the most recent version of taxonomy releases for their XBRL filings to take advantage of the most up-to-date tags related to new accounting standards, disclosure requirements, and other improvements.
