TRAFFIC ALERT New Castle County I 95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that the right turn lane from westbound Old Baltimore Pike onto northbound Rt 896 continues to be closed through Monday, August 26th for road construction. There will also be overnight lane closures on northbound SR 896 for concrete pavement construction. Additionally, there will be overnight lane closures on NB I-95 for sign structure removal and daytime lane closures on northbound I-95 for truck access.
I-95 AND RAMP IMPACTS
· Monday, August 19th through Thursday, August 22nd: Daytime Lane Closure, Northbound I-95 from the Route 896 Interchange to the Welcome Center (9AM - 6PM)
· Tuesday, August 20th: Overnight Multi-lane Closure, Northbound I-95 from the Route 896 Interchange to the Welcome Center (8PM - 6AM).
· Tuesday, August 20th: Rolling Road Blocks, Northbound I-95 from the Route 896 Interchange to the Welcome Center (11PM - 5AM).
· Wednesday, August 21st: Overnight Multi-lane Closure, Northbound I-95 from the Route 896 Interchange to the Welcome Center (7PM - 6AM).

- From Northbound and Southbound Route 72: Take Route 4 to Route 896.
