This is What I Do: Host Programs and Events That Foster Connections

There are thousands of employees that keep the City running each day. The video series, "This is What I Do," highlights some of the unsung heroes who often work behind the scenes in critical functions to serve our community.

Our most recent episode features C.J. Valenzuela, a Public/Private Partnerships Coordinator with the Housing and Neighborhoods Department. In this role, C.J. works with developers, architects, lenders, City Council, and many more to ensure that all the pieces of the affordable housing puzzle come together. The result? More affordable housing options for our residents!

C.J. loves his job because he enjoys meeting new people and helping them. He takes pride in knowing that the work he does has a positive impact on our community.
