Galbreaith joins Boise State as media relations director

Stephany Galbreaith is Boise State's new director of media relations.

Before joining the university, Galbreaith spent 10 years with the City of Meridian, most recently serving as communications manager. She led the city's internal and external communications efforts, including media relations, marketing, social media and crisis communication. Galbreaith brings a wealth of experience in strategic communications and has a proven track record of successfully telling the stories of local government. She worked with two mayors and 14 city council members during her tenure in Meridian.

As director of media relations, Galbreaith will oversee the university's communications with the media while cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with local and regional media outlets.

Galbreaith is a Boise native and proud Boise State graduate. She lives in the Treasure Valley with her husband, also a Boise State alum, and their two children.
