California accelerates E15 review
Approval would reduce gas prices in a state that has some of the highest in the country.
The California Air Resources Board will accelerate its regulatory review of E15 gasoline blends, following a directive by California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Officials said the higher ethanol mix would reduce gas prices while still supporting the state's stringent regulations on tailpipe emissions.
California is the only state in the country that doesn't allow the sale of E15. It also has some of the highest gas prices...
