City Sandbag Distribution Event Canceled for July 4 and July 5

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Corpus Christi Public Works Department is canceling its sandbag distribution events for July 4 and July 5.

The decision was based on the current weather forecast, which lends to a low probability of the City receiving an extreme weather event.

City officials will continue to monitor the weather and determine whether additional sandbag distributions are warranted in the coming days.

Changes in the weather status and future sandbag distribution events will be posted on the City's social media sites.
