Negative Declaration

Madison County - The Village of DeRuyter Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of DeRuyter Water System Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of aged cast-iron and asbestos watermain which is causing reduced pressure and fire flows. Replacement of lead services to meet design standards. Improvements to both the treated water storage site and water treatment site in order to meet design standards. The project is comprised of approximately 13,200 linear foot of watermain and associated appurtenances such as hydrants, valves, and water services. The project is located at various locations in the Village of DeRuyter, New York.
