Honoring Fallen Officer Zane Coolidge

With heavy hearts, the Phoenix Police Department will be laying to rest fallen Officer Zane Coolidge who was taken from us on September 6, 2024, after being shot in the line of duty several days prior. We remember Zane as an amazing husband, father, son, brother, friend and beloved member of the Phoenix Police Department.
The memorial service for Officer Coolidge is closed to the general public, but it will be streamed live on the Phoenix Police Department's YouTube Channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/phxpd. The service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The live stream is expected to start at 9:40 a.m. The services will also air on PHXTV, for those who have Cox Cable Channel 11 within Phoenix.
At the request of the family, the Phoenix Police Department would like to invite members of our community to honor him and show support for his family by lining the sidewalks along the procession route.
Those who are planning to line the procession route are encouraged to be in place by 9:00 a.m. The procession will head west on Bell Road from 60th Street to Cave Creek Road. The procession will turn south onto Cave Creek Road and continue to Dream City Church, 13613 North Cave Creek Road.
Below is a map showing the procession route.
The procession will consist of motor officers, family, friends and Zane's Squad from Mountain View Precinct.
