Traffic Advisory Calaveras County 7/5/24

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

CALAVERAS COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-4 (SR-4), SR-12, SR-26 and SR-49 for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 4

  • Full highway closure from Cedar Lane/View Road to Pine Drive for special event on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Tipton House Road to Country Club Drive for utility work beginning Tuesday, July 9, through Friday, July 12, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 12

  • One-way traffic control from Messing Road to Burson Road for utility work on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 26

  • Long-term one-way traffic control at the South Fork Mokelumne River for bridge work beginning Monday, March 18, at 7:00 a.m. through Saturday, June 20, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.
  • Long-term one-way traffic control at the North Fork Mokelumne River for bridge work beginning Monday, March 18, at 7:00 a.m. through Saturday, June 20, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Montgomery Drive to Alabama Hill for tree work on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 49

  • One-way traffic control from Copello Drive to Carol Kennedy Road for tree work beginning Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Carol Kennedy Road to Magers Way for tree work beginning Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
