Brown Rudnick Guides Electric Supply Center in Sale to French Distributor Sonepar

Brown Rudnick acted as legal counsel to Electric Supply Center (ESC) in its $150 million sale to French electrical supplies distribution giant Sonepar.

The sale to Sonepar's U.S. subsidiary, Northeast Electrical, closed on June 28, 2024.

Headquartered in Burlington, Mass., ESC is the largest and fastest growing electrical products distributor in New England, with six branches across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Family-owned since 1995, ESC has a full line of electrical products and a range of value-added services that cater to commercial contractor customers.

The Brown Rudnick team representing ESC was led by partner John Cushing and included partners Peter Farrell and Kevin Brown and associates Alvin Carter, Isabelle Jacobs, Sharix Alicea and Ryan Moser.
