Seasoned banking professional Cranford Knott has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a financial advisor at the firm's downtown Asheboro office located on North Fayetteville Street. Knott brings 29 years of banking experience to the firm, which is ranked No. 1 in Randolph County for total deposits according to FDIC data ending June 30, 2024.

Before joining the firm, Knott served as senior vice president and city executive for FirstBank. His extensive experience also includes roles at First National Bank, Community One Bank, Capital Bank and First Horizon. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's in business management. Outside of work, Knott serves on the board for United Way of Randolph County and the Randolph-Asheboro YMCA board of trustees.
