Governor Newsom signs legislation 8.26.24

SACRAMENTO - Governor Gavin Newsom today announced that he has signed the following bills:

  • AB 453 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Riverside) - District-based elections.
  • AB 1849 by Assemblymember Tim Grayson (D-Concord) - Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act: services and repairs: travel trailers and motor homes.
  • AB 1861 by Assemblymember Dawn Addis (D-Morro Bay) -Pest control: Pierce's disease.
  • AB 1966 by Assemblymember Laurie Davies (R-Laguna Niguel) - Human trafficking: notice: primary ticket sellers.
