ACOP 2023 Closes With Record Submission Rate for Second Straight Year

The RSPO Annual Communication of Progress (ACOP) 2023 reporting cycle has now been finalised, showing a 95% submission rate among RSPO Members, a record high achieved for two straight years in a row.

This reporting cycle also saw a 100% submission rate for environmental NGOs and Banks and Investors. Membership sanctions however saw an increase from 76 from the previous year to 84 in this reporting period.

Sanctions have come into effect as of 3 July 2024, when Membership and Certification teams have updated their respective statuses. The final list of members who have had their RSPO membership terminated, suspended or have received first-time warnings as a result of non-submission to the ACOP has been published on the RSPO website.

The RSPO Secretariat wishes to extend its gratitude to all RSPO Members for achieving this impressive record submission rate for the second consecutive year. Robust submissions enable RSPO to better understand and report on market dynamics, identify issues to assist members, and provide transparency on RSPO's overarching vision to make palm oil sustainable.
