DIR Releases 2024 Biennial Performance Report on State Technology Progress

AUSTIN-The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) today announced the publication of the 2024 Biennial Performance Report, which tracks state agencies' technology progress in Fiscal Years 2023 and 2024.

The Biennial Performance Report provides a statewide perspective into how state agencies use technology to serve Texans and improve government efficiency to save taxpayers money. In addition, it recommends improvements for the state's management and use of technology and highlights technology accomplishments that support the goals established in the 2024-2028 State Strategic Plan for Information Resources Management.

"The Biennial Performance Report is one of the state's most useful ways of tracking agency alignment with the state's strategic technology goals," Executive Director Amanda Crawford said. "It helps to inform the Governor and the Legislature about how state agencies are using technology, which helps to ensure that they have the tools they need to continue leading Texas."

The 2024 Biennial Performance Report is available on DIR's website.
