NOTICE TO THE BAR AND PUBLIC
APPOINTMENT OF MARK E. HALL AS BANKRUPTCY JUDGE
Mark E. Hall was sworn in as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey on October 15, 2024. Chief Judge Michael B. Kaplan of the Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey administered the oath of office at the Clarkson S. Fisher United States Courthouse in Trenton, New Jersey.
Judge Hall assumed his duties on October 21, 2024 in Trenton and fills the position vacated by Judge Kathryn C. Ferguson upon her retirement on September 30, 2023.
Judge Hall earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Rutgers College in 1996 and his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark in 1999. Judge Hall interned and clerked for the Honorable Novalyn L. Winfield, U.S.B.J., and was a partner with Riker Danzig LLP and Fox Rothschild LLP.
