DS Smith receives two Procter and Gamble Excellence Awards for Baby Care and Fabric and Home Care packaging solutions

We are delighted to have won Procter & Gamble Excellence Awards in two categories - Baby Care and Home Care packaging solutions. This year, only ten suppliers globally reached the final stage, with DS Smith becoming the first ever to achieve a double win at the event.

Every two years, P&G thoroughly evaluates its extensive supplier network, selecting a select group for its Excellence Awards. The P&G Supplier Excellence Award selection criteria encompass four key themes: Commercial, Operations, Innovation & Sustainability, and Citizenship. Winners are chosen based on a comprehensive assessment that considers quantitative and qualitative data across key performance metrics, highlighting consistent excellence throughout the supplier relationship.

The win aligns perfectly with our company-wide purpose of 'Redefining Packaging for a Changing World' and its 'Now & Next' sustainability strategy.

Francesco van Westrenen, Global Customer Business Unit Director, Packaging Division, DS Smith:

"We are thrilled to be recognized for excellence in not just one, but two business categories for sustainable fibre-based packaging solutions for both Feminine & Baby Care as well as Fabric & Home Care, and by two different procurement organizations within P&G. This is an unprecedented achievement and highlights the outstanding performance and commitment that our company has demonstrated across various aspects of our partnership and DS Smith is the only supplier to ever win simultaneously in two categories."

Receiving this P&G Excellence Award is a significant milestone and a reflection of our team's relentless efforts and dedication to excellence, sustainability, and innovation. We look forward to continued and future collaborations with P&G.
