Kirkland Advises Azenta on Cooperation Agreement with Politan Capital

Kirkland & Ellis advised Azenta, Inc. (Nasdaq: AZTA) on a cooperation agreement with Politan Capital Management. As part of the cooperation agreement, Quentin Koffey, chief investment officer of Politan, is joining the board as an independent director, and Azenta and Politan agreed to customary standstill, voting and other commitments. Azenta also announced the appointment of two additional independent directors to its board. Azenta is a leading provider of life sciences solutions worldwide, enabling impactful breakthroughs and therapies to market faster.
