The next few days are forecasted to bring heavy rain and wind gusts, potentially leadingto localized flooding. The City of Bellaire is preparing. Our Bellaire Public Works team is already hard at work, cleaning manholes and storm inlets to ensure minimal drainage issues on our streets. They are also sweeping the streets to clear any debris that could cause flooding.

Preparing your homes for potentially excessive rainfall can help prevent water damage, property loss, and personal safety risks.

• Clear out drains and gutters at your home
• Bring lightweight objects inside
• Park vehicles in the driveway or garage, not in the street
