Hockey home-openers

The No. 9-ranked Cornell men's hockey team will open a four-game homestand when it welcomes No. 6-ranked North Dakota for a two-game series.

The Women's ice hockey's regular season starts with games against Union College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Indigenous women exhibit

A new exhibitin the lobby of Mann Library highlights the contributions of the first Haudenosaunee women in the College of Human Ecology, who benefited from home economics programs but were constrained by inadequate financial support, cultural stereotypes and gender bias.

Titled "Redressing Histories of Early Hodinǫ̱hsǫ́:nih Women at Cornell, 1914-1942," the exhibit is part of Human Ecology's centennial celebrationsthis year. It opens with a panel discussion, "Indigenous Perspectives in Higher Education: Reflecting on the Past to Inform the Future."
