• Aggravated Battery with a Firearm/Incident #24-18686

Sunday, August 1, 2024, at approximately 1:25 a.m. Peoria Police responded to the 1400 block of SW Jefferson Avenue on a Shot Spotter alert of 5 rounds fired. While en route officers were informed that a gunshot victim was located at the above

address. When officers arrived, they located an adult male (30 years old) outside with apparent gunshot wounds. The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information. This incident is under

investigation.

• Armed Robbery/Incident #24-18709

Sunday, September 1, 2024, at approximately 10:31 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of NE Adams on a report of a stabbing and armed robbery. When officers arrived, they located an adult male (48 years old) with apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. After the stabbing, the suspect took the victim's wallet and fled on foot. Officers conducted a search for the suspect with negative results. This incident is under investigation.

• Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking/Incident #24-18759

Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 12:14 a.m. Peoria Police responded to the 700 block of Hamilton on a report of a Vehicular Hijacking. When officers arrived, they located the owner of the vehicle who told police she was sitting in her car at the above location when two males approached her car. One of the males was armed with a handgun. The males took her vehicle and drove away. The victim was not injured. A short time later, the victim's vehicle was located in the 200 block of N. Sand Street. Officers also observed two males exiting the vehicle and fleeing on foot.

Police pursued the suspects with negative results. This incident is under investigation.
