ADL 422294: Notice of Intent to Issue Upland Mining Lease in Bonanza Hill, Alaska

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water (DMLW) is giving notice that they have received a request to convert the following mining claims and leasehold locations located in Leasehold Location Order 1 in the State of Alaska land into an upland mining lease, under AS 38.05.205(a) and 11 AAC 86.305.

Holder: Northern Bonanza LLC, Po Box 110188, Anchorage, AK 99511

Of 55 mining claim and leasehold locations : ADLs: 500970; 500973-975; 500977; 500979; 500980; 562509; 562514-523; 719374; 724679-680; 724682-704; 724721-731 with claim names #21; #110-#115; #130-#149; #172-#182; Northern Bonanzas: 32; 35-37; 39; 41; 42; 1017; 1022-1030; and Northern Bonanzas 95 Bench;

Located in Seward Meridian Township 007 N Range 031W sections: 01; 07; 09; 10; 11; 12; 14; 15; 16; 17; and 18; Iliamna recording district to convert to Upland Mining Lease ADL 422294.

Mining lessees have the exclusive right of possession and extraction of locatable minerals subject to AS 38.05.185 - 38.05.275. Leases are issued for the term it takes to mine and are renewable if necessary. The lease will require mandatory rent and production royalty requirements. Once the lease is issued, the lessee must obtain all required permits before exploration or mining can occur. A copy of the Mining Lease Application and the draft Upland Mining Lease may be obtained from DMLW using the contact information provided below.
