08/13/2024 - Extending Street Closure on Columbia Street
Revised Opening Date Extended to Mid November
A section of Columbia Street between Sid Snyder Avenue SW and 15th Avenue SW has been closed for an extended period of time. The closure of this section of street will continue with a revised reopening date of mid November 2024. The closure has been needed in order to facilitate the construction and street improvements associated with the reconstruction of the "Newhouse" building on the Capital Campus. Signage for detour routes will be provided although it is encouraged to avoid this area if possible.
