7/15/24 Aggravated Battery with a Knife

(PEORIA, IL) Friday, July 12, 2024, at approximately 8:02 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Faraday on a report of a person stabbed.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male inside a residence with apparent stab wounds to his face and arm. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.


Members of the Peoria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.

This incident is currently under investigation. There is no suspect information.
