Arrest Made in August 26 Fatal Shooting of Charmaine Goodloe at Buena Vista Pike Apartment Complex

Homicide detectives tonight charged Jabaree Q. Jones, 19, with criminal homicide for the August 26th fatal shooting of Charmaine Goodloe, 34, at Overlook Ridge Apartments, 2400 Buena Vista Pike. Goodloe was sitting in a breezeway of an apartment building with a friend just before midnight when shots were fired from the parking lot. She was rushed to Vanderbilt where she died.

The continuing investigation by Detective Joe Gawlowski led to the identification of Jones as a person who was in the suspect car at the apartment complex when the shooting occurred. Jones was taken into custody late this afternoon by Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives at an apartment complex on Cheyenne Boulevard. He is being held without bond pending a hearing.

Additional arrests in this case are anticipated.
