Free Family Fun Day at the Hearst Center for the Arts

The Hearst Center for the Arts is thrilled to invite the community to its first-ever Free Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 28, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. It will be held at the Hearst Center (304 West Seerley Boulevard).

Families and individuals of all ages will experience programs firsthand during this open house event. Drop in anytime between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. and explore at your own pace, create masterpieces, and discover how the Hearst can support your artistic journey.

Guests can enjoy three new art exhibits on the upper level featuring local artists; artwork from the Red House Studios residents, Celebrating 60 Years of the North American Review in Iowa, and a retrospective of former University of Northern Iowa professor Osie L. Johnson. Guests can also learn more about how they can support the arts in Cedar Falls by becoming a Friend of the Hearst. Membership offers benefits including 10 percent off class registrations and supports the Center's enriching programs year-round.

Bring the whole family for fun, creativity, and inspiration at the Hearst Center for the Arts!

This event is made possible in part by a grant from the Iowa Arts Council's Cultural Leadership Partner program, part of the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
