Route UU in Mississippi County Reduced for Asphalt Overlay
SIKESTON - Route UU in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as construction crews overlay the asphalt.
This section of roadway is located from U.S. Route 62 to Route D near Charleston, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Aug. 22 through Friday, Sept. 13 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
