Cape May County Zoo Announces Boo at the Zoo Winners

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ -- The sun was shining brightly on Saturday, October26th as the Cape May County Park & Zoo delighted a record-breaking number of children of all ages, as they celebrated their annual Boo at the Zoo event. Park staff giggled with ghosts and played with princesses as children dressed in their most imaginative costumes as they paraded around the courtyard or strolled through the zoo to let all the animals see what they were wearing. Faces were painted. Cape May Dancers performed a "Creepy Carnival". Bounce Houses were bounced, and treats were given. It was scary how much fun everyone was having.

"On behalf of myself and the Board of County Commissioners, I want to thank all the volunteers and judges that donated their valuable time to make this event happen," said Cape May County Commissioner, Andrew Bulakowski, liaison to the Parks and Zoo.

"Anyone who attended Boo at the Zoo can attest to the pressure placed on the judges, in my opinion all the children were winners. It was a great event, and the Park and Zoo staff did an excellent job," Bulakowski added.
