Thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent Veterans Memorial Brick Ceremony at the Sumter County Courthouse. It was a truly moving event where we came together to honor and recognize the brave men and women who have served our country, as well as their families who have supported them throughout their service.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Kristen Montejo from the Veterans Services Department for serving as the Master of Ceremonies. We also appreciate the inspiring words from Commissioner Bogue and Congressman Webster, as well as the heartfelt remarks from Dominick Nati. Reverend Tim Eichberger's invocation and benediction added a meaningful touch, and Debbie Perina of the Tri-County Women's Veterans delivered a powerful rendition of the National Anthem. We are also grateful to the Tri-County Women's Veterans for presenting the colors, helping make the ceremony even more special.
We were honored to have so many veterans and their families attend and be part of this memorable occasion. Your service is deeply valued, and we remain committed to recognizing and celebrating you.
In addition to this beautiful ceremony, we are excited to announce the reinstatement of the Veterans Memorial Brick Program. This program allows you to honor a veteran by purchasing a commemorative brick, which will be displayed as part of the Veterans Memorial at the Sumter County Courthouse. The program will be held annually, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of recognizing those who have served. To learn more about the program or to purchase a brick, please visit www.sumtercountyfl.gov/bricks.

Together, we can ensure that our veterans are always remembered and celebrated for their contributions to our freedom.
Thank you to all the veterans and their families for your unwavering dedication. We are proud to stand beside you in our shared commitment to honoring your service.
