Project information:
The I-475 corridor improvements project started with a $300 million investment from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's Rebuilding Michigan bond programto rebuild approximately 8 miles of I-475. As the development process began, MDOT heard the community's concerns about I-475 and the desire to improve the local facilities as a part of the project.

To address these comments and concerns, MDOT initiated a planning and environmental linkages (PEL) study. This meeting will identify concepts from the PEL study that will be included in upcoming work on the middle and south segments of I-475. The community can also provide feedback on the proposed removal of the 14th Street bridge over I-475.

Please submit public comments by Aug. 15 using the online comment form, by mail or e-mail to MDOT Public Involvement Specialist and Hearings Officer Monica Monsma at [email protected].
