Baker Donelson's Washington, D.C. Office Welcomes Litigator Eduardo Bruera as Of Counsel

The national law firm of Baker Donelson has grown its Complex Litigation and Class Actions Group with the addition of Eduardo Bruera, an attorney with extensive experience in a wide range of commercial and constitutional litigation. Mr. Bruera joins the Firm as of counsel in its Washington, D.C. location.

Mr. Bruera's legal work has spanned an array of industries, including energy, mining, manufacturing, and transportation, and he has litigated cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, federal courts of appeal, federal district courts, and state supreme courts. Mr. Bruera is a fluent Spanish speaker and has particular experience representing clients with Latin American interests.

Mr. Bruera obtained his B.A. from Rice University, his J.D. from Cornell Law School, and he holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in political science from Stanford University. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Mr. Bruera served as a senior associate at a major international law firm, as an assistant United States attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, and as a senior advisor to the General Counsel of the Treasury Department. He also clerked for Justices John Paul Stevens (ret.) and Sonia Sotomayor at the United States Supreme Court.
