Baker Donelson's Washington, D.C. Office Welcomes Litigator Eduardo Bruera as Of Counsel

Mr. Bruera's legal work has spanned an array of industries, including energy, mining, manufacturing, and transportation, and he has litigated cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, federal courts of appeal, federal district courts, and state supreme courts. Mr. Bruera is a fluent Spanish speaker and has particular experience representing clients with Latin American interests.

"With a broad legal background spanning a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, he can provide significant value to our clients in a variety of industries. Mr. Bruera obtained his B.A. from Rice University, his J.D. from Cornell Law School, and he holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in political science from Stanford University. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Mr. Bruera served as a senior associate at a major international law firm, as an assistant United States attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, and as a senior advisor to the General Counsel of the Treasury Department. He also clerked for Justices John Paul Stevens (ret.) and Sonia Sotomayor at the United States Supreme Court.
