Popcorn Wednesdays with the King of Pop

Every Wednesday at Hurco Companies, Inc. headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, a man with the goal of unifying the workplace in harmony tirelessly makes popcorn for all employees.

This is the story of Hurco Systems Administrator Brady Rozens, AKA the King of Pop!

Brady's popcorn-making career began in the fall of 2023 when the Hurco Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Core Team purchased a popcorn machine for its employee appreciation party.

Since then, Brady has been serving up popcorn every Wednesday to help fill the stomachs and souls of his beloved coworkers. It has become something the workplace looks forward to every week.

"I really enjoy doing it," said Brady. "I'm hoping that me doing this every Wednesday brings a little bit of harmony here to Hurco and that everybody enjoys it. They seem to be very happy to come get a bag of popcorn from me every Wednesday."

Over the past year, Brady has become notorious for his popcorn-cooking abilities and earned a long list of nicknames including:

• Sir Pops Alot
• Popper in Chief
• Cornpop
• Pop Master P
• Popcorn Pro
• Popper of Corns
• Colonel Popkins
• Kernal Connoisseur
• The Salted Sensation

While many akin Brady to Orville Redenbacher, his value to Hurco goes far beyond salty snacks. Brady joined the company in 2019 with a background in information technology (IT). His day-to-day duties include:

• Microsoft Server Administrator
• Microsoft O365 Administrator
• VMware Administrator
• Cisco WebEx Administrator
• Cisco DUO Administrator
• Citrix Administrator
• OS Deployer Administrator
• Desktop Support
• Network Support
• VOIP Phone Support

Brady even helps assemble cubicles when needed, something he has experience in during his time building office furniture prior to his IT career.
