In coordination with Jasper County Emergency Management, FEMA will open a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Newton WEST Academy (1302 1st Ave E; Newton, IA 50208). This center is for Jasper County residents to report damages to their homes that occurred between May 20 and May 31 and submit applications for FEMA assistance. The center will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, from July 1 to July 5, with additional dates and times to be announced soon.
