2024 Indiana National Guard Defense Organizational Climate Survey

The Defense Organizational Climate Survey (DEOCS) begins 1 AUG and remains open until 30 NOV. It is imperative to obtain maximum participation for this voluntary survey to provide data to better inform training and education efforts for future Primary Prevention work as well as gauge effectiveness of current interventions within each Brigade/Wing in the Indiana National Guard.

Commanders will support assessment efforts by providing on-duty time in private settings for military personnel to voluntarily complete the survey. Text out the link (https://www.surveysdrc.com/deocs) to every SM in your formation and ask your Servicemembers to enter their DoD ID and take the survey. Hang the attached DEOCS flyer in a public area and attach the flyer to your newsletters. Leadership at all levels will need to encourage service members to participate in this survey. No Army or Air commands are exempted from this requirement. Deployed personnel will complete these surveys per guidance from their current supervisory commands.

• Survey responses are anonymous and will be used to inform change at all levels.
• The survey is 20% shorter than previous versions.
• Each survey participant can go to https://www.surveysdrc.com/deocs and enter their DoD ID to take the survey.
