Felony Drug Arrest in East Fishkill

PRESS RELEASE

On October 30, 2024, the New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit arrested a Yonkers man and Vermont woman for felony drug possession.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on a 2020 BMW 530 Series on the Taconic State Parkway for violations of the vehicle and traffic law in the town of East Fishkill. Investigation determined the operator, Steven A. Emery, age 44, of Yonkers, NY, and the passenger Shelby Rose Rowe, age 30, of Bennington, VT, were in possession of approximately 110 grams of cocaine. Rowe was found to be in possession of an additional amount of cocaine weighing approximately 3.7 grams.

Both subjects were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with Intent to Sell, both class B felonies. Rowe was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Emery and Rowe were arraigned before the Honorable Judge Rudner of the town of East Fishkill Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
