PPB to Participate in Multi-Agency Traffic Enforcement Mission

The Portland Police Bureau will be partnering in a multi-agency traffic enforcement mission across the Portland/Vancouver metropolitan areas from November 22 - 24, 2024. This is in preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday travel period and the approaching wet, winter weather.

Each agency will be focused on enhancing safe driving behaviors and preventing serious or fatal crashes by concentrating on the Fatal-5 driving behaviors: Speed, Occupant Safety, Lane Usage, Impaired Driving, and Distracted Driving.

We ask that you drive safely, designate a sober driver, use ride share, plan ahead for travel delays, and use safety features that can enhance your safety (seatbelts, child safety seats, hands-free Bluetooth, etc.).
