THIRD QUARTER SCORE UPDATE: DCCC Leads NRCC 34-11 as GOP Game Plan Crumbles

Desperation is mounting heading into the fourth quarter as the game continues to slip away from House Republicans. With dwindling time left on the clock, non-partisan race raters have now shifted races 34 times in House Democrats' favor since the beginning of September - more than triple the 11 shifts towards House Republicans - including today's seven positive shifts from Inside Elections.

House Republicans' defense is crumbling under waves of scandals and disturbing allegations, and the offense just can't seem to get anything going with many of their newcomers looking pretty lackluster in the homestretch.

Meanwhile, House Democrats continue to build a commanding lead as their fundraising advantage grows and they dominate the ground game across the field.
