United Tractors Collaborates with PLUT KUMKM Batu City to Support MSMEs Growth Through Training and Business Mentorship

Malang, August 22, 2024 - PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) is committed to continuously supporting the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia by collaborating with the Integrated Business Service Center of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (PLUT KUMKM) in Batu City. This program is implemented in three villages, Tulungrejo, Tawangargo, and Giripurno, involving 61 participants from 24 fostered MSMEs. This collaboration aims to enhance MSMEs' entrepreneurial skills in digital marketing strategies, vegetation management, and improving production processes.

The collaboration between UT and PLUT KUMKM Batu City is part of UT's efforts to support MSMEs' growth by applying digital solutions and sustainable mentoring. In Tulungrejo Village, the training focused on the fundamentals of digital marketing, including social media, content strategies, Google Ads campaigns, and Google Maps features to increase the online visibility of MSME businesses. Meanwhile, in Tawangargo Village, the program includes the initial stages of vegetation provision to support stingless bee cultivation. The training is conducted through group techniques on cultivation, plant maintenance, and fertilization to ensure business sustainability.

In Giripurno Village, the "Kopi Bubuk Robusta" MSMEs received special assistance in improving production processes and supply chain management. This mentorship included production layout analysis, coffee bean processing, and improvements to procurement and raw material storage systems to enhance production efficiency and the quality of the coffee produced.

As part of this program, UT provides the necessary tools and technology to support each village's training and process improvements. Each village also forms management groups to ensure effective program implementation and regular progress monitoring.

Through this program, UT hopes that MSMEs in these three villages can grow more rapidly, increase competitiveness, and achieve sustainable business success. The program is expected to improve the economic conditions of MSME actors and the surrounding communities.
