In this spotlight, we're excited to feature Max Ortega, Senior Production Engineer at our Hopewell site.

What does it mean to you to be Hispanic? 
It means to share about the Chilean culture and representing the Latino community day to day.

How do you celebrate your culture? 
I love celebrating Chilean holidays, especially with a good steak and homemade baked goods. My wife also enjoys Chilean food very much.

Why is Hispanic Heritage Month so important?  
It creates a time and environment to step back and look at the Latino/Hispanic communities and how the culture is part of our day-to-day lives.

What about your culture are you most proud of? 
We Chileans are quick learners and adapt well to different situations, we've had a few earthquakes in the past and have been able to get up and rebuild stronger than before.

Tell us about a Hispanic person who has made a deep impact on your life. 
My parents: they showed me that there are no limits to what we can do. Both have always worked hard to achieve their goals and make an impact on other people. My mom is a teacher and my dad is a chef; I'm very grateful for them.
