State Police investigate body located near Patroon Island Bridge

On December 3, 2024, State Police responded to the reports of a deceased person located near the Patroon Island Bridge.

On December 3, 2024, at about 8:24 a.m. Troopers responded to I-90 eastbound just east of the Patroon Island Bridge in Rensselaer, NY, for the reports of a deceased person located by New York State Department of Transportation employees.

The right lane was closed for approximately 1.5 hours for investigation purposes, and has since been reopened. The investigation is ongoing. There is no perceived public threat at this time.
