"We're excited to continue this Halloween tradition for the third year," said Chief Kirk Giles. "It's an opportunity for us to engage with the community in a fun and safe environment. We're looking forward to seeing all the families out there for a memorable night."

Costumes are encouraged, but not required to join the festivities. The event will feature:

  • Trunk or Treat
  • Bounce houses
  • Family-friendly entertainment and carnival games
  • Food trucks
  • Haunted House at 6 p.m.

James Gossett, Director of Huntsville Parks & recreation, is excited to again partner with HPD on the event.

"This event has grown each year, and we're thrilled to work with the Huntsville Police Department to bring it back for our community," Gossett said. "It's a chance for families to come together, enjoy some great activities and celebrate Halloween in a safe and fun setting."

In addition to the games and treats, local vendors and nonprofit organizations are invited to participate by hosting candy booths.
